In first Kings we hear about the story of Elijah dealing with a moment of going from the highest high to the lowest low. He had just experienced God manifest in fire and then the next day with the threat of his life he ran and hid in the mountains. He tried to save himself; he found himself breaking the first commandment God was gracious to him and gave him an opportunity to reconnect with God, hear his voice and know what to do.
In Philippians we read that we are to be anxious for nothing but with everything with prayer and supplication let our request be made known unto God.
In Isaiah it says to put on the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness that garment of praise is like the mantle that Elijah realized he needed to put on and reconnect with God. He had been praising the problem, praising all the things he had done and had left God out of his praise.
When we change our focus of praise back to God we overcome all the things that the Spirit of heaviness is trying to undo and destroy in our life.
The enemy comes subtly in ways we don't always recognize him in the moment and it is our responsibility to be aware of it and not allow him to stay in our presence.
In James chapter 4 it says to resist the enemy and he will flee now this comes right after the instruction to submit unto God That's the most important step he gives us the authority to cause the enemy to no longer influence our thoughts and our life.
We have names for the effects of the spirit of heaviness they call it anxiety or depression. It affects our physical body and we see evidence of it destroying our life. We can do things in the natural to undo those effects. Yet it's critical that we recognize the source of that influence in our life that has led us down those paths and when we take authority over it and we stop allowing that influence in our thoughts, emotions and interactions. We can be made free and restored.
It's our responsibility to resist the enemy and cause him to flee; he will not leave when we say nothing.
As we deliver the gospel to those that are affected just like all of us we must come with the authority to cause a change in their life where the enemy no longer is bringing torment to them.
1 Do you see how the enemy has subtly come in and tried to separate you from the presence of God.
2 Do you now know what to do in those moments at the bottom of the hill when the enemy starts talking.
3 How are your eyes opening to see those around you dealing with this spirit of heaviness.
Walking around these walls I thought by now theyd fall but you have never failed me yet waiting for change to come knowing the battle won for. You have never your promise still stands great is your faithfulnss your hands do again Jesus

Yes I have noticed more and more on who God is and who the enemy is. The voice that feeds me anger and wants me to stay in that depression state of mind is my enemy. My father that encouraged me and pushing me for a better life a better quality of life that's my God. But the change in me is handling the enemy different God gave me the power over my enemy I just need to apply it to everyday life and no it true because it comes from God.

Yes, and thank you. I've excused away natural moments that negatively affect my soul, and not sought God in them. "Oh, I'm feeling tired and drained (more than just physically...). I need more coffee" "Oh, I feel anxious and worried, I need less coffee"... Or in moments of anxiety, seeking the scrolling for "relief". Even if looking at a bunch of woodworking things isn't "bad", it really isn't dealing with whatever caused anxiety to begin with. That would be running from the bear, the problem. I can even force shut my mouth to complaining, but if I don't open…
Yes one night I woke up and it was completely dark in the room I could feel the evil in the room. I was telling the evil to leave but then I realized I needed God so I called upon the Lord said his name three times then within seconds I could feel the evil gone and I can feel the presence of the Lord.
Yes I've been there where things were going good then all of a sudden it felt like evil trying to take over saying different things making my mind Wonder then I just started praying and worshiping God
