Come to The Mount of Transfiguration
Preparing to Be Transformed
We are now in the season of the fall feasts, at which time the transfiguration took place.
Matthew 17:1 And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into a high mountain apart,
2 And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.
3 And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him.
4 Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.
Peter had the Feast of Tabernacles in mind, as it was fast approaching. He recognized the importance and significance of Moses, Jesus, and Elijah.
Moses representing the Law that brings us to Christ; Jesus the messiah representing the restored covenant; and Elijah representing the Holy Spirit writing the law in our hearts
The Father speaks from heaven and says, "Just listen to my Son; he will tell you what Moses said, restore the covenant, and send the Holy Spirit."
THE PROCESS OF TRANSFIGURATION AND TRANSFORMATION
Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
· Good – agathos - benefit
· Acceptable – euarestos - agreeable, well-pleasing
· Perfect – teleios - Growth, labor, character, completeness
The Transformation Process Takes Us Through Three Phases
· The first good phase is when we understand and receive the benefits
· The second acceptable phase is when we begin to agree with the instructions of the Word and become well-pleasing in the Lord’s sight
· The third perfect phase is when we grow and labor in the work of the Lord, which develops our character and brings us into completeness in Christ
A Sign of Transformation and Maturity is How We Receive and Give
· We must begin by humbly receiving the blessings and instructions
· We then move from receiving only to giving what we have received
Acts 20:35 I have shewed you all things, how that so laboring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.
One Definition of Blessed is: In A Position to Receive from God
· You are in a better position to receive from God when you are giving.
A great missionary friend told me that he used to give to live; now he lives to give.

Why do we need to understand Moses, Jesus, and Elijah for true transformation?
If we only see and understand one part we can't fully become three-dimensional. But when we see and understand the three parts that God wants to transform us we can become multi-dimensional. We have depth and we have height and we have width. With all 3 I fully can be everything that is available from the word of God for my life.
Which of the three phases of transformation are you in right now? It takes all three parts to fully become a representation of God.

Why do we need to understand Moses, Jesus, and Elijah for true transformation? It takes all three to really understand the heart and purpose of God. The Law (Moses) leads us to Christ, it shows us that we really do need a Savior, the Spirit (Elijah) writes the law in our hearts so that we can do it, not as a Pharisee, but understanding it helps us know how to live. And without Jesus, there is no Salvation for us as Gentiles. We only can be grafted in because of Him. Without one, we miss part of who God is and how His kingdom operates.

Why do we need to understand Moses, Jesus, and Elijah, for true transformation?
Moses delivered us the law from God in the commandments. Elijah,
Put in our hearts the spirit of the law.
Jesus, reniued the law's from Mose,and the importance of the spirit from Elijah, with out Jesus then we don't have a restored covenant with God and we cannot enter the kingdom of God.

Why do we need to understand Moses, Jesus, and Elijah for true transformation?
We need to understand the law (Moses) beyond just head knowledge, we must have the Spirit of the law (Elijah) written in our heart not in our head. We need Jesus because without Him we have no restored covenant and we cannot see or enter into the kingdom of God, True transformation is all three operating in our lives which produces transformation from within and then demonstration without so others can see and experience the Kingdom of God..
