Enter Into the Rest of It

A new year is exciting especially when we are tired of the previous one. But the Lord said,

“I did not fail to fulfill what I promised – It is that what I began, it is that what I awakened, it is that what I connected, and that what I opened last year simply has not reached it full expression yet. There is STILL MORE! You can … “Enter into the Rest of It”

The calendar changed.  The promise didn't. The year may have ended, but the Word of the Lord concerning you did not become obsolete. What was not completed has not been cancelled. Sometimes we mistake unfinished for failed. Listen, What He started, He has not abandoned. What He promised, He has not forgotten. There is a "Rest of It."

Sometimes God delays the promise because the person receiving it isn't ready for what the promise requires. Joseph is the perfect example. God gave him a dream, but he was not ready for it, he didn't have the maturity to manage it so God delayed it. At the time he probably didn't understand the delay was to prepare him. What looks like delay is preparation. The delay can develop: character, capacity, faith, wisdom, patience, endurance, and stewardship. You are being prepared for the promise. God said, “I haven't changed My mind. I'm increasing your capacity.” He gave me Joshua 13:1, “There remaineth yet very much land to be possessed.”

He said, "Don't abandon the field because you haven't seen the harvest yet." The roots are alive... with the sound of music... (I'm just hearing this now!)... Worship! It's waking up the seed!

The conditions are changing. And suddenly—Bloom. There will be a suddenly! Suddenly there will be MORE! Galatians 6:9 “Let us not be weary in well doing for in due season you shall reap…” Your promise has a due season! But we can't stop at the first bloom. We cannot confuse the bloom with the harvest. The bloom simply tells us that something is alive, that the conditions have changed and there is still seed there. Remember, this year is not necessarily seeing the bloom, it is a year to enter into the rest of what the bloom is announcing. Thus, a year to continue!

We are continuing what the letter Vav (6)made available - nailing it, increasing your borders, connections, and the AND! The AND keeps the promise moving. We have to "Enter into the rest of it." We have to move, participate, get involved, and possess the promise.

5787 is not merely a new year. It is the continuation of a word already spoken. The “and” is still operating. There is still more. There is still territory. There is still fulfillment. There is still harvest. There is still “the rest of it.”

God has given us an invitation to “Enter into the rest of it.” Let's not stop at what He has already done.” Let us not stop at the edge of our promise. ENTER INTO THE REST OF IT

“The year may have changed, but the assignment didn't end.” It’s simply not finished.

3. What do you need to do now to “enter into the rest of it”—to keep moving, participate, possess the territory, and refuse to abandon the field before the harvest?
