God planted a garden, carved out 4 rivers of provision, and gave man the job of dressing and keeping it. The work of God was simply using His God-given gifts and talents to provide a service or product to better society. In doing so all of his needs were met and he could enjoy all the blessings of God and find rest in the Work of God.
The enemy came to steal man's purpose and their work became toil, pain, sorrow, and a heavy burden. Many have grown tired and weary in well-doing and have even said, I Hate My Job!
Everyone will find that they are in one of three workplaces. Egypt, Goshen, or The Kingdom.
QUESTIONS FOR DISCUSSION:
Which of the three workplaces did you find yourself in?

What was your aha moment?
In His Service,
Bishop Bill
What a great word Bishop! Definitely found a few places where I know I have not entered into His rest. .
1# I have definitely been in Goshen! I know it was definitely not Egypt. I would constantly be worried about but people thought about me and trying to please other people. Being a slave and feeling obligated. Now can I see what the kingdom is and fully sit down and trust Him. . In Goshen I was seeing things from afar but I need to step out and trust the next process. Kingdom!
2and 3# I definitely one part was spiritual anxiety! Getting so stressed and aggravated with trying to make things happen. Trying to make evangelism happen! Trying…
Loved the message Bishop! There is just a lot in it for me and even after hearing it 3 times before it was preached, 🤣🤣🤣 I thoroughly gleaned from the wisdom and the practicality of it to listen again yesterday.

Well I can rule out Egypt! I have overcome slavery and I'm embarrassed to admit it hasn't been all that long ago! I struggled with being a slave to school. I felt for years that I was expected to make brick without straw! Impossible! It wore be out! I would get glimpses of "going to church" all week long, and Rev. Ryan kept it before me consistently so I…

More Goshen than anything. Wanting to stay comfortable. Don't know if it's possible to poke out a bit to Kingdom and go back? Certainly been more than just Rest and safety once or twice a week at church. Takes work to reach out to people, neighbors, coworkers, care enough about them to help them in some way with my gifts and talents. And I've stepped into that, but I suppose I've been carrying guilt for not doing more.
Did you make the simple mindset change? Explain How.
Yes. A couple things with this: letting go of the heavy burden of spiritual anxiety. Bishop called me out lol. "Oh I gotta…

-The time in Goshen has been good as a safe place to learn and grow while I didn't feel like I knew much. But now my focus is outside the four walls into the Kingdom.
2. Did you make the simple mindset change? Explain How.
-I find this message as a part of the message Pastor Aaron gave a little while back. I'm summing this up a lot, but the part where he said that God is wanting to do His favorite thing with the ones He created and He gave them the gifts and abilities to do it. That was a moment of mindset change for me. This…

I can wholeheartedly say that I love the opportunity/job that God has provided for me. I love doing the work, and I desire to invest into the people that the work brings me in front of. I think the difference for me between resting in either Goshen or the Kingdom work place is a matter of priority. If the people come before the work then it is a Kingdom workplace, if I put the work before the people I can just let myself linger in Goshen. So it's a daily choice to be advancing in the way that God has called us to work, and in that Kingdom work their…
