MAKEOVER OF HEAVEN AND EARTH


Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the Heaven and the earth.

2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep.

The Earth needed a transformation because it was shapeless and lacked purpose. Heaven was also dark, enveloped in ignorance and obscurity, and similarly required a makeover.

 

GOD BEGINS THE IMAGE MAKEOVER


He separated the light from the darkness, the waters below from the waters above, the land from the seas, grass, trees, the sun, the moon, the stars, fish, birds, animals, and then man in his image.


God had sons in heaven in his image and likeness, and he wanted sons on the earth in his image and likeness.

Lucifer, one of God's sons in heaven, chose to rebel against God's plan and continues to try to hinder it today.

Jesus became the first perfect imager of God on earth, and we are predestined to be conformed to that same image

 

We are now sons of God, but we may need a makeover that happens from glory to glory

  1. What makeover change do you need to look more attractive to the unsaved?

  2. What improvement do you need to make to your appearance, to image God more accurately?

  3. What restyling or remodeling do you need to improve your function?

  4. What was your aha moment in the message?
