A SOUND RISING
I hear the Spirit Saying:
Come back to the Altar!
Come back to the Fire!
Come back to a life of Dedication!
Dedication begins at the altar.
The Apostle Paul explains that if we want the fire, we must present ourselves on the altar.
Dedication is an offering.
You cannot have the fire without the altar
You cannot have the altar without the sacrifice
God sends fire where God sees the sacrifice of surrender
We present the sacrifice, and God sends the fire.
When God sees a person on the altar as a sacrifice for others, He sends the fire of the Spirit with His gifts.
Dedication brings the fire of transformation.
Dedication helps you discern the will of God
Dedication activates the Gifts of the Spirit
Dedication makes you faithful
Dedication is motivated by the mercies of God
LET'S BE REASONABLE
How Dedicated Do I Have to Be?
Rom 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Reasonable – logikos – logical, topic of discussion, mental calculation
· Prove – test, discern, approve
· Good – benefit
· Acceptable – well pleasing
· Perfect – complete moral character
What level of dedication is reasonable to you?
QUESTIONS FOR DISCUSSION:
How did the definitions of the words: good, acceptable, and perfect, change your mind about your level of dedication and your reasonable service?
What change in dedication will you make to keep the fire burning?
How will dedication activate the gifts of the Spirit in your life?
What was your greatest "aha" moment in the message?
Looking forward to our discussion
In His Service,
Bishop Bill
