Focus: Willing To Move and Follow
Exodus 13:21-22 And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of cloud to lead the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so as to go by day and night. 22 He did not take away the pillar of cloud by day or the pillar of fire by night from before the people.
We can and must recognize his spirit.
There was a Cloud by day and a fire by night. This provided cover shade, direction, and protection this was necessary not just for show.
Psalm 105:39 "He spread a cloud for a covering, and fire to give light by night."

Fire by night heat, protection, this overcomes fear
These two demonstrations of God was protection from a brutal world
Numbers 9:17 The cloud would leave over the camp and then they would pack up and follow
God was with them because they made preparation for God to be with them
They tore down and set up the tabernacle for him to dwell.
In a harsh land extra work was put forth to carry and set up the tabernacle
It was bigger and harder to set up than their own tents.
In addition to carrying their own stuff they also carried God’s place to dwell.
We're not sitting out in the desert but we are in a place where protection is needed.
What to do when thoughts come, what to do when fear comes, what to do when the enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy.
Psalms 91:1 -2 4, 15-16 Abide under the shadow of the almighty
Colossians 3:15 Let the peace of God rule your heart
Psalms 27:1 Whom shall I fear
Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all you heart --- direction
Psalms 119:105 Your Word is a lamp into my feet
Psalms 37:23 Steps of a righteous man are ordered of the Lord
Psalms 121:7-8 The Lord shall preserve you keep you from all harm
What protection are you most thankful for?
Have you asked where are you God and wondered who moved, was it him or you?
Bonus question: What are the 4 voices?
How did the word come alive to you through this message?
