The Invitation of A Lifetime - Come

When we receive an invitation, the person who is hosting the event has determined they want YOU to come. God invited us, aka YOU, to the invitation of a lifetime on Sunday and all we, aka YOU, have to do is COME!

In Isaiah 1:18 - 19, The Lord invites us to COME NOW (like today) and reason together, (aka my interpretation - Have a conversation), about our spiritual state (sin in our life) and solve that problem through a conversation which causes us to repent and allow Him to wash us clean with the Blood of Jesus. This invitation is the basis of all others. God has given us the ability to hear His voice so He can have conversations with us and respond to future invitations He desires us to say YES to! Did you receive this invitation?

God put forth numerous invitations of a lifetime to us through out this message to come:

Wisdom's Invitation:

He invited us to come to Wisdom's cry (Proverbs 8: 1- 21; 32-36 & Proverbs 9:1-6 & 10 -11) and come to Him for Godly wisdom.

Invitation To Eat the Bread of Life: (Having a personal relationship with Jesus and The Father)

John 6:48-58

He invited us to have/eat fresh bread from heaven daily. If we don't accept this invitation we will continue to eat religious traditions which causes us to die spiritually.

Invitation to Live in His House

John 14: 1-3

He invited us to sit at the right hand of the Father, where Jesus is, and "live" there during this lifetime.

Invitation to be part of the body and NOT stay in your room

Hebrews 10: 23-25

He invited us to no longer be a lone ranger Christian and not be involved in a local body.

Invitation of Discipleship

Mark 8: 34 -38

He invited us to deny ourselves, pick up the gifting and talents (our cross) He has deposited in us, and come and follow Him.

Invitation of being a soul winner

Mark 1:17 -22

He invited us to come and follow Him and He will make us fishers of men.

Invitation of Freedom

Matthew 11: 28 - 30

He invited us to come and allow Him to remove our burdens that weigh us down everyday that we cannot remove ourselves.

Invitation of Wholeness:

John 5: 5-9

He invited us to Rise up and take thy bed (that thing that paralyzes us) and walk. The other side of this invitation is to be THE MAN for those who are paralyzed.

Questions to discuss:

1) Which invitation(s) of a lifetime did you accept from this message?

2) What invitation that God gave to you meant the most to you and why?

3) Now that you have accepted these invitations, will you go and offer the same invitations of a lifetime to others? All they have to do is COME!

Being His Ambassador,

Rev. Ryan
