The Taste is Going to Move You

The taste is going to move you...When we have fruit that is produced by the Spirit of the Father. It's not dehydrated, it's something that causes us to want to continue to produce it.

I hope the Juicy Fruit jingle makes you laugh, and also helps you remember that the fruit of the Spirit is something that is good and desirable.

In Galatians, it talks about the fruit of the Spirit and we focused on peace, love, and self control.

Peace that surpasses understanding. I explained it like this: “peace despite knowing some facts.”  When we are able to have peace despite the bad diagnosis. Information that is contrary to the truth of the Word of God.  The peace of God is something that gives us a solid place to step out from, and to walk in faith from.

Love has been redefined in our society. It is a plan by the enemy to change how we perceive, give, and receive love so that we are unable to connect and be an example of God's love on this earth.

Self-control. This fruit of the spirit is two parts. It does require us to do something yet it also still requires the spirit of the Father to help us when we are weak. Because when we are weak He is strong.  So when we need self-control we do our part and then we trust and rely upon God to bring His part.

Self-control is matured when God's instructions for life are written on our heart, it's part of us, and it helps us stay in the place that we truly desire and want to be.

So let’s discuss...

What redefined fruit stood out to you?

How does the fruit taste different now that it's been redefined?

How do you see the fruit of the spirit moving you in the future?

Part two of this message was juicy and sweet 😄

What redefined fruit stood out to you?

Peace stood out to me during this message. I had always perceived it as just being a lul or calm, but I see it with a bit more clarity now.

How does the fruit taste different now that it's been redefined?

Ps. Aaron brought out that peace is a guard around your heart and your mind. It not just a reaction to what's going on, it is the preventative measure for our hearts and minds before the battle and through it.

How do you see the fruit of the spirit moving you in the future?

This new taste is moving me!!!

What redefined fruit stood out to you? I loved all three of the "redefined fruit", although self control is the one I'm choosing.

How does the fruit taste different now that it's been redefined? The instructions for life written on (in) your heart tastes like it is part of you. It's who you are, it brings forth life. We will always have temptation as Ps. Aaron pointed out, but there is a way of escape. By choosing, we overcome, endure, and occupy.

How do you see the fruit of the spirit moving you in the future? Redeemed from what I have not been able to change and it tastes saweeeeet! I see the focu…

Great Post Rev. Connie.

Your post ministered to me because I too tried to change things but unable to but now that Peace is becoming life in my life, it is causing things, to change that I could not., LIKE ME! I still get back to this week should have been a chaotic mess, based upon natural circumstances, but peace kept me still and focused on Him. This has been one of my best weeks at work in a long time. He did it and I am soooo thankful that He did!

Thank you for this statement: "Redeemed from what I have not been able to change and it tastes saweeeeet!" -- Praise God I have been redeemed!!!!!!!!!

Thank you Pastor Aaron Anderson for a great message this past Sunday morning.

What redefined fruit stood out to you?

Like Elder Christy I felt both peace and love.

How does the fruit taste different now that's been redefined?

When serten fruit is in season

It's definitely fresher. With fall and winter not far off we take the fruit that can't hold up to the cold.or fruit that Parish But we just don't through it away we can freeze it or preserve it so we can have fruit in our cold months. So I guess where I am coming from is let's not waste the fruit of the spirit that has been offered to us and to others I pray…

Thank you Pastor Aaron for another great message that changes the way I think about the fruit of the Spirit.

What redefined fruit stood out to you? Both peace and love

How does the fruit taste different now that it's been redefined? When Pastor Aaron brought out about peace guarding our hearts, going around our mind as peace is not subject to knowledge--so we can hold on to faith..this allowed me to see the fruit of peace, knowing it's taste, in my own life. I have been tasting this fruit in my life as it is being formed but there have been times when I thought it wasn't really the fruit of peace because my mind took a little time…

Ha! yes! our mind can sometimes take its time to "catch up!" 😂

I love the revelation of a "victorious mindset" which is what you prayed last night! In other words, defeating the "defeat mindset!" The defeated mindset certainly DOES hinder the Spirit from being able to produce the REAL fruit! Oh how I am grieved for people with a "defeated mindset!"

God may the REAL fruit in our lives overcome the "defeated mindset" in others!

Great post!

This message tasted so good it is still moving me to continue to love God and love people the way that only comes from Him. Another life changing message Pastor Aaron, well done!!!!!!

What redefined fruit stood out to you? Peace

How does the fruit taste different now that it's been redefined?

Up until this message I would have my "peace checklists" in my brain and sometimes on a piecew of paper that I would only have peace if all of those things on my list would get accomplished in the time span that I felt that they needed to get done. I realized because of these "SELF" defined peace checklists I walked in frustration, agitation, discouragement, and etc tha…

Love this Rev. Ryan, "The statement you made "The peace of God helps me change circumstances" instantly was an eye opener for me. I realized I WORK HARD, in the name of responsibility, to try and change those circumstances instead of allowing the peace of God to change them in me first that will allow the outward change to happen." This has been a big one for so may of us! "We" trying to do the work and we end up with vegetables, like Ps Aaron's last message talked about, instead of the fruit of the Spirit. Thank God for His eye opener messages to help us be able to help us with His Spirit producing in us what people…
