You Will Know Them by Their Fruit

Updated: Aug 9, 2022

CRYSTAL CLEAR YEAR Matt 7:16 Ye shall know them by their fruits.

· The Devils believe in God – and tremble, working to lead people away from God

· The Atheists believe in God – spend their life trying to prove He doesn’t exist

· Every Believer that goes to church believes in God – that’s why they are there

· That Does not mean they are abiding in the vine and bringing forth fruit

· Is that clear?

UNDERSTANDING THE PRODUCTION OF FRUIT

John 15:1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. 2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he TAKETH AWAY: and every branch that beareth fruit, he PURGETH IT, that it may bring forth more fruit. (THIS IS SERIOUS)

THE FLESH WITHOUT THE SPIRIT LEADS TO TEMPTATION

James 1:13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:

14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away by his own lust, and enticed.

15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin (missing the mark), when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

16 Do not err, my beloved brethren.

NEXT COMES SEDUCING SPIRITS AND DOCTRINES OF DEVILS

1 Tim 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron

Jesus Tells Us to Destroy the Temple of Dead Works So He Can Raise Up The True Temple

John 2:19 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.

Gal 5:24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

QUESTIONS FOR DISCUSSION

  1. Is it clear that your flesh has drawn you away from abiding in the vine?

  2. Is it clear to you that seducing spirits and bad doctrine have held you in works of the flesh and not able to produce the fruit of the Spirit?

  3. Name the Seducing Spirit and or Doctrine of Devils that are still holding you from turning to His Lordship over your entire life.

  4. Is it clear you must destroy the mindset of the works of the Flesh so you can be in a position for Jesus to raise you up as His Witness?

  5. What was your "Aha Moment" during the message?

Looking forward to our discussion

In His Service,

Bishop Bill

Stephanie what you said is very important. Do I only see him as my savior! Do I only see him as him saving me from one step to the other to the other and never stepping out of that mindset. Or do I see him as my Lord! When I recognize that He is my Lord no searching for something else.

Once you're saved you don't have to keep getting rescued everyday.

1 Yes it is definitely Chrystal Clear that my flesh has caused me not to be abiding in the vine. As others had mentioned it was a surprise but it totally is clear. .

2 Yes definitely! It really stood out when we think we are think we are doing the instruction instead of knowing. . . I know there are many times I have even totally convinced myself I was doing things correctly or do them 50/50 it is still disobedience it is still flesh.

3 The one thing you mentioned is how do I look at the situation in how do I look and how do I perceive God as. . Do I only see him as my…

The "aha" moment of this message, if I may quote Bishop, is that "There is no devil in hell that can stop you. Only your flesh can stop you". And I think that statement really answers and sums up many of the discussion questions for this week. We want to blame, people, circumstances, and even get "fancy" and say that the devil is after me and pulling me away from abiding in the vine. Yet it is our own desires and self-preserving nature, that cause us to try and live away from the vine. The devil isn't even after us until we have fruit, and fruit that remains in every season. We're not even a threat until then. We are…

" I know that in my zeal to do what God instructs I have at times become self-reliant and walked away from the real doctrine which is that "HE is the God that leads you...." If you lead yourself, even if it's in a good direction, it is still the works of the flesh and ineffective. "

Great statement. I feel like it's so engrained in us (maybe just as humans, maybe as an American in this culture) to get to a certain point where "you should be able to do this on your own." But God flips that thought on its head: the further we go on this journey of faith, we decrease and He leads fully. The real…

1. Is it clear that your flesh has drawn you away from abiding in the vine?

Yes, it is absolutely clear. The realization shook me a little bit at first. It's so much easier to blame the devil for why you aren't abiding in the vine instead of looking and seeing that the real problem all the long was you.

2. Is it clear to you that seducing spirits and bad doctrine have held you in works of the flesh and not able to produce the fruit of the Spirit?

Yes it is clear, especial within the context that ones' own lust/flesh is what starts you on that path in the first place. It's like seducing spirits and bad doctrine…

I am right there with you on your answer to the first question,"Yes, it is absolutely clear. The realization shook me a little bit at first. It's so much easier to blame the devil for why you aren't abiding in the vine instead of looking and seeing that the real problem all the long was you."

None of us wants to believe we are the problem and yet all we have to do is look at our desires, our behavior at times, and what we think about and spend our time doing to see the real problem!

I also really appreciate your last line, "When we shift the "blame" away from the fact that it's our own selves/our own stinkin…

Yes it is clear that my flesh has drawn me away from abiding in the vine

2/3

Yes it has been made clear that saducing spirit or bad doctrine have held me in the works of the flesh is knowing that his word dosen't change and that I need to trust in what He has said and not doubt. Or even find my own reason why it happened or didn't happen. If He said it will happen He is not a lier.

4. Is it clear you must destroy the mindset of the works of the Flesh so you can be in a position for…

Rob. Great post. What really stood out to me was your analogy of your conditional surrender and unconditional surrender. Because you are history buff like myself, in war, conditional surrender means the enemy gets to keep something even though lose the war. Most of the times, when countries who know they have lost the war, will want a conditional surrender which means their identity in some way shape or form will be kept. In this scenario, the losing country, gets to keep operating in some forms the same way they had before but under different rules from the winning country. Unconditional surrender means, the losing country loses it identity and become assimilated into the winning country. Identity is stripped, …
