Order in the Court

Just as in an earthly courtroom, when disorder threatens the process, one declaration brings everything back into alignment: Order in the court. I submit to you that God is speaking this same declaration today—not as a rebuke, but as a preparation. Disorder is threatening His process for creating the right conditions to awaken the seeds of possibility—the coming super bloom. This is not God reacting in anger. Scripture reminds us plainly: “For God is not the author of confusion but of peace.” (1 Corinthians 14:33) Peace does not mean passivity. Peace is the fruit of divine order.

In every courtroom, when the judge enters, a person of the court announces, “All rise.”    I believe that command is a direct quote from God to step it up a notch or two. If you have fallen back or fallen down, RISE. If you have gotten sloppy in your ministry, your call, or in managing your life, RISE!

God does nothing randomly. When God prepares to move, He rearranges. Creation itself began in chaos, but God spoke order into the void. He is commanding order into disorder. Remember, order isn’t restriction—it’s preparation."Let all things be done decently and in order.” (1 Corinthians 14:40)

God specifically said, "If You Want to Oversee, You Can’t Overlook. To oversee is to carry God-given responsibility with awareness, authority, and accountability over what has been entrusted to you. Oversight is stewardship. He said, "I am raising overseers who are not afraid to examine broken places."To overlook means to fail to notice or consider something. It implies something important was present—but attention wasn’t given to it.

Eli knew what his sons were doing and he chose to not restrain them (start at 1 Samuel 2:12 and read through Chapter 4, it's such a great read!). Eli wasn’t judged for ignorance—he was judged for overlooking what he knew. He held the position of judge, but refused the responsibility of correction.

The Hebrew year 5786 carries the meaning to blind, to put out. In the file below are the five types of blindness beyond physical blindness that may cause us to "turn a blind eye." (This was shared in the fall during the Prophetic Outlook.)

To turn a blind eye means to pretend not to notice—even when you know something is wrong. Eli turned a blind eye! God sent a messenger to Eli to warn him. My Bible prefaces it with "Prophecy Against Eli's House." God was already raising a priest who would obey. (Samuel). I see a turning point in this story when the Lord told Eli that he honored his sons more than Him. The conclusion to it all is Eli lost his authority through negligence. You cannot carry authority over what you refuse to confront. You cannot steward what you keep ignoring. And what you authorize long enough will eventually testify.

God is calling order in the court—not to shame us, but to prepare us. Because when order is restored, conditions are right… the super bloom can finally break forth.

Let's discuss:

  1. If God is calling “All rise” over this season, what area is He asking you to step up, clean up, or take responsibility for again? What does rising look like in practical action, not just intention?

  2. Where in your life, ministry, or leadership has God already made you aware of disorder—but you’ve chosen to overlook it rather than confront it?

  3. What did you learn in this message that will help your super bloom break forth?

Wow! What a message!

1# When I hear "all rise"I see it as someone that commands your attention. And then I see God tell me this is what your attention needs to be on. How I respond and dwell on things that are going in. My thoughts can cause confusion and take me on trails that I'm not supposed to be on. I love that God just wants me to bring those things I dwell on and call me to arise. Bring your attention back to me!

2# one area is definitely my health! I been times I have worked on it and done well. And then been stressed and it causes me to fill up my emotions with something…

I hear you Stephanie, thoughts, left to go whatever way they want and not brought in captivity when they are lies, can create confusion/chaos in our lives for sure. In fact, when we get out of order, that is where it usually starts! Exactly, bring attention back to Him! and His purpose, His plan, His will. He is preparing you for more children to minister to!

If God is calling “All rise” over this season, what area is He asking you to step up, clean up, or take responsibility for again? What does rising look like in practical action, not just intention?  “All rise” means to me being much more diligent in my quiet time with God.  Spending time quietly at His feet, more Mary less Martha. I found it very interesting that you used this phrase, Rev. Connie, knowing its origin. It comes from medieval times when the judge would enter the court, and he would be carrying the bible. It was to show respect for not only the judge and his authority, but where he got his authority from God’s word! I continue to…

Thank you for the post, Sue!

Yes, the Mary and Martha is a tough one! The good news is that we have to be and can be both. It requires us to know its order. I have known people who are all Martha, and it is out of order. I have also known people who are all Mary, and the interesting thing is it is still out of order. One ditch is no better than the other. 🤪I realize if we have a tendency to be a doer, it is easier to get out of order with Martha, and rising would be to come back to an intimate place with God and make sure we are spending time and energy…

I believe God is calling me to rise in the transparency and intimacy of worship. This is not about singing better or leading louder, but about leading truer. Rising looks like allowing worship to flow from a place of honesty before God, bringing both reverence and vulnerability into the space. Practically, that means resisting the urge to stay polished or guarded and instead creating room for authentic encounters with God, both for myself and those around me. It means modeling intimacy with God…

Great post Melissa!

Thank you for flowing with honesty, letting reverence and vulnerability live in that space of worship. It is noticeable and it is making a powerful impact in worship as you lead people to a deeper place in worship.

"Overseeing" relationships is a big one! I love your statement, "avoiding conversations doesn't protect relationships; it weakens them." Agreed! In this year of a connector, it is important that we steward relationships so that the "connection" does not erode away. Connection cannot survive where tension is continually ignored.

That's right! GOD IS NOT DELAYING! He is giving a call to rise and get prepared through order .... because THIS IS REALLY HAPPENING!!!!

Thank you for "allowing God to reorder"…

Thank you for your post, Deacon Heath!

Yes, health is a big one to change and requires diligent attention. The rewards are worth it! If we look at it as preparation for quality of life, it is doable and necessary for our immediate gain and certainly for our future. Habits fall right into that also. The good news is old habits can be broken as new ones are formed. It works together.

Relight the courage candle in your light, it sounds like maybe it is waning. Eli lost his position because he refused the responsibility of correction. He was judged for overlooking what he knew. Ignoring things, negligence causes us to lose our authority. When God entrusts us with things,…
