SHOW US A SIGN

SEE IT AND BELIEVE

In Matthew 12 Jesus is teaching and rebuking the Pharisees. They say they want to see a Sign from Jesus before they will believe Him.

Jesus responds and tells them the only sign will be that of the prophet Jonah!

Do most people want or need a sign before they will believe today also?

QUESTIONS FOR DISCUSSION:

  1. How many signs do you need to see before you will believe?

  2. How many signs of healing have you seen and still struggle to believe for your healing? Finances? Serving? Witnessing?

  3. Why do people need signs for direction in their natural and spiritual journey?

  4. What "signs" or proof of your message do people see in you?

  5. What was your "aha" moment in the message?

Looking forward to our discussion.

Bishop Bill

  • How many signs do you need to see before you will believe?

I've seen many signs personally in my life that has caused me to believe, and I've seen many signs in other people's lives of God working in changing impossible situations.

There are moments that I find myself struggling that this particular moment he would do something.  I believe that comes from the opposition that is trying to stop the goodness of God and he can't stop God and so in moments of weakness he will speak lies, partial truths that if not recognized will get into my thinking.  So I must be diligent to count my blessings, count the signs and remember the things that God has done…

Hi Pastor Aaron, Great Post! I loved your statement: "Serving: Has been something that has been life in my life from childhood. I saw it and loved doing it and still do. I pray that people see it is a good thing to serve God.  I pray that people see the commitment and faithfulness to keep God's instructions produce a life that is fulfilling and rewarding. Yes, it is obvious. I also loved your statement that the Eclipse was God's signature! In His Service, Bishop Bill

Why do people need signs for direction in their natural and spiritual journey?

-signs give you the information you need to get you to where you need to be safely

-our lives need/should be a sign to others that our God is true, faithful, and powerful

I loved your statement: "Why do people need signs for direction in their natural and spiritual journey? -signs give you the information you need to get you to where you need to be safely -our lives need/should be a sign to others that our God is true, faithful, and powerful. 1. How many signs do you need to see before you will believe? Unless I have fruit in my life being produced by what I believe, then there must be a need for me to see more signs so that I will believe.

  2. How many signs of healing have you seen and still struggle to believe for your healing? Finances? Serving? Witnessing? I have seen many signs in these things, and have experienced some in my life. But I don't have testimonies daily of these daily in my life so i must not completely believe God in all these things.

Hi Deacon Heath, Great Post. I loved your statement: "I hope that people see that it's a blessing to be a servant of God when they see me, and also that it is a financial blessing to serve God." Well, I see it! In His Service, Bishop Bill

Thank you Bishop

How many signs do you need to see before you will believe? I would like to be right there with Rev. Ryan and say I don't need anymore. I think I believe, yet is there evidence that I do--some area of life yes, others not so much. I see a sign, am convinced I believe and then a test comes and the struggle-the fight to keep believing comes and many times end up believing the flesh. I don't want to need another sign. I just want to believe, period. So I am choosing to believe and to keep fighting the fight of faith because the people at my job need a sign, and the city I live…

Hi Elder Christy, I loved your statements: "I cannot say any other signs are really following--which causes me to come back and check my message. If the message isn't right then there will be no sign so I want to make sure it's God's message and not my own. AND "Our City needs a sign--people who are sanctified, helping (being a servant), healed, wealthy, and our message changed (being God's message)--I desire all of these to be life in my life. All the old things truly gone--dead and buried--and new life being evident. A life that points to God in all things and shows Him in every area so that others can see Him and want to choose Him."

How many signs do you need to see before you will believe?

Well I would like to think I believe 100,% of the time but this is not the case. When things happen in the natural I lean towards myself and I forget to ask good for help a sign or an reminder that God knows exactly what I am going through and some times I understand the sign right away and others I missed it but I need to improve in this area so next time I see and understand the signs.

How many signs of healing have you seen and still struggle to believe for your healing health, finances, serving, witnessing, ?

Again at times I don't understand…

Hi John, Great Post! I loved your statement: "Do I turn to self or do I turn to God I am working on turning towards God on a more consistent basis." We are all learning to turn to God daily for every area of our lives, it is called Let the Word Become Life in Our Life. In His Service, Bishop Bill
