Psalm 119:9-11 9 How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to your word. 10 I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your commands. 11 I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.
God desires to have communication with us. He does this through his word and when we put the word of God into our heart by reading it memorizing it. Then in the moments that we need to hear God he has these stories that are from the Bible that he can use to bring back to our remembrance and touch our heart and express himself in such a way that we don't just know about him but we understand him.

In Exodus 16 God did this through the story of providing mana for the Israelites in the wilderness. We learned the lessons of trusting God and obedience in this story but for me personally he demonstrated his faithfulness as someone that I could trust that when I seek him I can find him and that he will consistently be there. He met me in the doubt and pulled me up.
The reason he could reach me was because I had this word in my heart. I knew it so he took that and showed me who he was and in a moment we were at a place of trust again.
John 10:27-28 My Sheep Know my Voice
When we know the word it helps to give him something to work with and allows us to know his voice.
God's voice is a still small voice and if we don't stop when he speaks it's very easy to slide past the moment and miss what he was saying.
Do you think there's been moments where God was bringing his word alive to you but you may have missed the moment?
How do you think you can be better prepared in the future to recognize and fully experience those moments that God is planning for you?
How did this word come alive to you?
I Look forward to reading your post. I apologize I must of made a mistake when I published this on monday because when I went to check on it today the post was gone but the photo was still in the folder, so not sure what happened to it.
