Experience Versus Opinion
Matthew 7:7-12 Seek and you shall find.
God is a creative God and he's not limited by the past.
Possibly we have had an experience and that experience hinders us from the current thing that God wants to do.
Matthew 7:13-14 Narrow is the way and it is difficult to lay aside the experience that you have had.
Isaiah 43:19 "Behold I am doing a new thing." The coming of Jesus to earth is the new thing Isaiah's prophetic words point to.
God is doing a new thing all around us. God is breaking down strongholds, transforming dark places into light places, and making hardened hearts into soft ones.

John 21:1-12 The disciples were fishing all night and caught nothing yet Jesus said cast on the other side. That was a new experience.
Matthew 9:17 Old and new wine skin.
You can't fit what God wants to do today into the old wineskin. New wine is put into fresh wineskins, and both are preserved.
We can apply this to all the areas of our life. Healing prosperity decisions and choices witnessing
Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
My opinion will not change someone else's experiences.
For them to be able to see the kingdom of God they have to experience something different.
For me to really truly believe and walk in faith I have to have a different experience than I've had.
If you're struggling in an area then in this season let's seek a new experience.
We're celebrating the feast once again so we can’t let previous experiences dictate how we approach and view this moment.
So we have to seek this new experience of what God wants to do in our life that we might be able to live and walk in faith and have a new experience to share with others.
I also want to have the path to new experiences for their life. Showing them this is how you overcome the past experience.
If we can for a moment set aside the past experience and pursue a new experience then we can walk through that reset of our thinking and step into faith.
We can say I believe God about this because we know it's the right answer but if our past experience is affecting what we're believing for then our past will dictate our future.
That's what the blood of Jesus is for. It is to wash away the past so that we can be born again new and able to experience God.
1. What experience have you had that has caused you to know God is real?
2. What experience have you had that has caused you to pursue him to know him more?
3. What was the word that came to life for you?
