JESUS WAS A FRIEND TO SINNERS
Matthew 11:19 The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man gluttonous, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners. But wisdom is justified of her children.
The Pharisees misjudged Jesus’ way of evangelizing.
Luke 11:9 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
Jesus taught a parable about Asking, Seeking, and Knocking, clearly comparing it to helping a friend rather than asking for yourself, as it is normally taught.

Thank you Bishop for a fantastic finish to the "Friends" series. This series has opened my eyes to see evangelism in a whole new light and really what the heart of evangelism was supposed to be all along--caring about another person enough to make the effort to make a connection and bring them to Jesus (He can be found at BAM).
What is the parable of ask, seek, and knock really about? When a friend comes to me with a need and I do not have what they need--I have to go to the One who has it. The powerful principle of this whole thing is the whole knocking until the door is finally opened is all for someone else,…
