The Four Horsemen

Death is at the Door of our Nation!

In Revelation 6, The Apostle John sees Jesus open the first four seals, releasing the four horsemen with a description of what each horse represents.

In Matthew 24, Jesus tells his disciples what to expect before His coming and the end of the world.

Jesus tells us that these are the beginning of sorrows for many, but what about those who are prepared?

To fully understand the four horsemen, I gave four views and perspectives. One is from John, one is from Jesus, one is from the four living creatures, and one is from Bishop's view.

QUESTIONS FOR DISCUSSION:

1. What were the main words that describe each of the horsemen?

2. What stood out to you from John's view?

3. What stood out to you from Jesus's view?

4. What stood out to you from the Four Living Creatures view?

5. What stood out to you from Bishop's view?

6. What was your “aha” moment?

Looking forward to our discussion.

I know I have asked several questions, but it is very important that we understand this in order to be prepared for end times and not be in fear.

In His Service,

Bishop Bill

Honestly... Pastor Aaron said it almost exactly the way I was wanting to say it!!! The only thing I can add to my side of his post is:

Jesus came to show us ALL these things, and what must come to pass before He returns to His Kingdom! I love how John brings this into context with the "Revelation" of Jesus Christ! He is and was and will always be the True King, and will always Rule!

Now it is our turn to see Him as King and bow before Him! When this takes place in our hearts, our lives will no longer be our own... We will say the same thing Jesus said, "Where is my mother or brothers,…

Hi Andrew,

It is important that you know the four horsemen, their purpose and timing in order to be prepared for end-times. Christian around the world cop out with i have the "revelation of Jesus" but show no signs of preparing for the events about to unfold

1 what were the main words that described each of the four horsemen?

Death, Famine,war, conquest/concur,

2 What stood out about John's view?

That one day the rapture will happen and before it does we need too focus on what's in front of us on the tasks at hand . Also a man riding a white horse with a bow concuring being curious about the man on the white horse people possibly think it may have been Jesus and how it can lure people and be questioned of the possibility of it being true or not true.

3 What stood out about Jesuss view?

We don't know when Jesus is coming back but we do know that he is. we…

Hi John,

The false teaching that Jesus is the rider of the first horse has caused many to fall asleep in false hope and security.

Three reasons Jesus can NOT be the first rider

  1. Jesus cant be in heaven opening the rest of seals if he has ridden to earth

  2. Jesus would not be followed by horses that make things worse

  3. When Jesus "at the end of tribulation" rides on a white horse - He has a sword not a bow, He has His name on his thigh and is splattered with blood

Thank you for seeing all that BAM has been doing to prepare a people for end-times

1. What were the main words that describe each of the horsemen?

White horse: conquer, bow and crown

These things are coming and they're not going to be pretty but we will miss them if we're not looking for them. We will fall prey to them if we are not aware of them. They aren't going to look like a big horse and a guy on it. They are a type in a shadow of things that are happening and have happened and if we look with godly vision we can see wha…

Hi Pastor Aaron,

I love your summary:

These things are coming and they're not going to be pretty but we will miss them if we're not looking for them. We will fall prey to them if we are not aware of them. They aren't going to look like a big horse and a guy on it. They are a type in a shadow of things that are happening and have happened and if we look with godly vision we can see what the enemy is doing and we can also see what God is doing.

Yes, when we understand this TRUE teaching:

I can choose not to be part of the one fourth by following God's instruction and recognizing what…

1. What were the main words that describe each of the horsemen? -First Horsemen (white horse)

-conquest

Second Horsemen (red horse)

-war

Third Horsemen (black horse)

-famine

Fourth Horsemen (pale horse)

-death and hell

2. What stood out to you from John's view?

What power do you give? In the cases of all the horsemen (save the third) some form of authority/power was given them. What authority do we give ourselves to? We cannot stop what comes upon the earth, but we can choose if we are giving ourselves over to its rule and reign or God’s.

3. What stood out to you from Jesus's view?

What stood out to me is was that even though unpleasantness has, is, and…

Hi Amanda,

And from Jesus view:

So much of so-called “end times” teaching is fear-mongering, but Jesus Himself stressed that fear is not the answer to moving through troubling times.

And I love this one:

Staying true to the plan God will not only help you survive but thrive in the midst of the beginning…
