Gift Of Interpretation of Tongues.
These gifts are progressive and the further we get into the gifts the more we realize that we cannot have a fake connection to the spirit. They progressively require God to be real and cannot be imitated.
I compared this to the fastener it connects and holds together.
Interpretation is fully understanding and knowing what God is saying.
Tongues are an ability to surrender.
If you will to begin to speak God's words then he gives you the revelation of what he's saying and what he's doing, You begin to understand it. You see it you comprehend it and now you can speak it You can interpret and tell others what he is saying.
The gift of interpretation of tongues was given to turn the congregation toward God – not to the speaker.
The key to activating this spiritual gift is to earnestly desire it,
For this Gift to operate unity is needed within the Body of the Church and Between the people and God.
For this gift to be effective the earnest pursuit must be from a place of a pure heart.
This may not
be my favorite tool in the Box, but the best tool is the one that is needed at the time and will work effectively.
It is okay to want to use this gift. It can and will operate from a place of pure submission to God.

The concept of UNITY. I liked the question that Pastor Aaron asked, "Who are we agreeing with when problems come? Where do we align our unity?" Based on our answer to that, it dictates where the power comes from. If we align with the wrong entity, then power will come from the incorrect source which will prohibit us from flowing in this gift and the other ones too. Life and death are in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21). If we are constantly complaining, then we are declaring that we are not in unity with God.

What Perspective change do you have about the Gift Of Interpretation of Tongues? One thing that stood out to me and changed how I see is that if there is no one to interpret than the one with a tongue (or thinks they have one) should stay silent. I heard this two fold--either the one with the tongue isn't really hearing from God so please keep it quiet or there is a lack of unity and another who should be hearing the interpretation will not and so the one with the tongue should not speak because it will not help the Body at that time without the interpretation. This second one takes just as much of a pure heart and…

In a movie, show, or whatever you are watching if two people are talking to each other, and one speaks English and the other Spanish they obviously have no idea what they are saying to each other. Depending on what show or movie you're watching there can be times were those people are there for hours trying to communicate with each other until they either give up and move on or they try to find someone who speaks that language to translate. Sometimes the translater they find only knows partial bits of what they're saying from 2 years of High school or they went to Spain or…

It's either you have the gift of the spirit and can speak to God in a totally foreign language. Or you can't. It's a gift from the father to communicate with us in the most pure way he knows how. At times I thought I could hear the word I didn't understand in my mind and what I realized is it was me in the natural/flesh wanting it to be the father. So I need to take me out of the equation. And God will speak to me on his terms and I am ready to receive the gift of the spirit.

For me personally, this was huge. I used to think I needed to turn into some "supernatural" tongue translator of the "language" that was coming out of the persons mouth. In the natural I enjoy being out in public and hearing other languages being spoken. I listen and watch their body language and try to "interpret" what they are saying to see if there could be an open door for me to talk in English to them. Through this message, I realize over the years, I have tried to do that with interpretation of tongues instead of just asking Him, "What are you saying?" Through this messa…
